Breast Implant Exchange/Removal

There are many reasons a person may choose to undergo breast implant exchange. Implant size change, shape concerns, exchange of saline implants for silicone gel implants, implant failure or capsular formation are just a few of the situations that lead to exchange of breast implants. Some women choose to have their implants exchanged every 10 years as a prophylactic measure. In some cases, a woman will choose to have her implants removed without replacement with or without a breast lift.
